"Bozhou City's Chinese herbal medicines are cut while they are fresh and the support policy for the operation of Chinese herbal medicines" was released

In order to standardize the fresh-cutting of Chinese medicinal materials, guide enterprises in the management of traditional Chinese medicinal materials in Bozhou to strengthen the integration of production areas, and promote the healthy development of the Chinese medicinal materials industry, the Bozhou Municipal Government has recently issued the "Bozhou Municipality Supporting Policy for Fresh Cutting of Chinese Medicinal Materials and Chinese Medicinal Materials Management"

According to the "Policy", enterprises that cut Chinese herbal medicines while fresh, process and sell the varieties of Chinese herbal medicines announced by Anhui Province while they are fresh, will be rewarded according to 80% of the incremental contribution of the varieties to the local economy.

If a pharmaceutical company builds or cooperates with a Chinese herbal medicine cutting enterprise (workshop) outside the city to process the fresh-cutting Chinese herbal medicine varieties announced by the province (city) where it is located, and pays tax in Bozhou City. Then, the reward will be given according to 80% of the incremental contribution of the species to the local economy in the enterprise.

Commercial enterprises specializing in traditional Chinese medicinal materials will be rewarded according to 50% of their contribution to the local economy for the part of the annual sales of a single variety of 20 million yuan (inclusive) to 50 million yuan. The part above 50 million yuan (inclusive) will be rewarded according to 70% of its contribution to the local economy.

The Chinese herbal medicine market has launched an innovative business model. Its self-operated commercial and trade enterprises (platforms) select Chinese herbal medicine merchants for cooperative development, and according to its self-operated commercial and trade enterprises (platforms), a maximum of 50% support will be given to the local economy.

This policy will take effect from the date of publication and will be valid for one year tentatively. This policy is explained by Bozhou Pharmaceutical Development Promotion Bureau.
